Hustlers is based on New York magazine's 2015 article "The Hustlers at Scores" by Jessica Pressler. The plot follows a team of strippers in New York City who begin to steal money by drugging stock traders and CEOs who visit their club after the financial film stars Constance Wu (Crazy Rich Asians) Jennifer Lopez, Julia Stiles, Keke Palmer, Lili Reinhart, Lizzo, and Cardi B.
Though there were a few funny moments in the film, Hustlers was shot like one long boring continuous scene. The dialogue was amateurish, and the supposed "female empowerment" message doesn't fly at all. All during the film, Constance Wu's character Destiny kept saying that she wants to be independent and not have to depend on someone else. The same with Lopez' character Ramona. But excuse me if I missed something, but nothing says independence like stripping, drugging and stealing money from men for your shopping sprees, fancy cars and living large in your New York condos, even if they are Wall Street ballers. There's always college you know, and two wrongs definitely don't make a right.
Hustlers was a cautionary tale on what not to do if you truly want to be your own person. All most of these women aspired to do was to be able to shop until they drop in the best most expensive boutiques and stores, with the exception of Destiny, who supposedly only wanted to take care of her grandmother, and later after having her daughter, a "oops" baby. Yet, she still succumbed to the lifestyle that all of the money they were raking in afforded her. Ramona was also caught up in the money, and her justifications for being a criminal were worthy of a Viola Davis on How to Get Away With Murder eye-roll. But at least she made no excuses for wanting to be wealthy and living the glamorous life. And those of you who are Cardi B fans, if you blink, you'll miss her. Even though she was probably the funniest and brightest, yet all too brief moment in this dreadful film. And Lizzo was an even smaller blip on the big screen. She was just a tad bit more than a background player. Keke Palmer and Lili Reinhart are more prevalent in the 2nd half of the film, though both of their roles are small and underwhelming.
This film reminds me of 1998's The Players Club, another stripper film that was equally trite, uneven and the complete antithesis of "I am woman hear me roar. But at least with The Players Club, the lead character Diamond, had a honorable goal for enduring her humiliation and that was to finish college. and she did. I know Hustlers is certified fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, a lot of critics love it, women in particular are looking at it as a tour de force film for feminism and empowerment, and people are throwing Lopez' name out for an Oscar nod, but nowhere in this film is there even remotely an Oscar caliber performance. However, there are plenty of performances that can be nominated for a Razzie Award. The acting was cringy, lacked depth, maudlin and sometimes hilarious, even when it shouldn't have been. That's how bad this film really is. Hustlers is a literal goldmine for The Golden Raspberry foundation to choose this year's winner.

In my opinion it has to be 18+ or even R. There are a lot of nudity in it which is really disgusting sometimes. Great actors and actresses worked it, but still there was something not right. It doesn't have that 'thing' that keeps you sitting down watching it.

You went to see a movie Zlatokopky to watch online on putlocker completely in good HD quality. The plot is thin and contrived. Slow development. Predictable and unbelievable. Pretends to be based on a "real story. I'm sure the story was massaged to beyond recognition. Spoiler alert: The message tacked in the end is gratuitous and cynical. I suppose it is supposed to elevate the movie. It totally adds nothing to this stupid movie. I didn't feel entertained. I didn't learn anything. Prevarantice s wall street finit.
